Description
Online exhibition about the history of the daguerreotypes from the collections of several museums and photographic archives. Named after their inventor, Louis Jacques Mandé Daguerre, the daguerreotypes are the earliest photographs produced by the first commercially successful photographic process (1839–1860s).
