Description
Presented to the visitors of the Museum of Prehistory and Early History in a dedicated learning lounge, the digital storytelling application “Time Machine” shows the life of prehistoric communities in their natural environment and how it evolved from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age. In the stories of the Time Machine, digital storytelling focuses on intangible elements such as skills, beliefs, activities and events of prehistoric people. The objects of the collections are presented in their context of creation and use, as part of everyday life activities of individuals and communities. The case study evaluates the learning outcomes of the digital storytelling exhibit and its impacts on the experience of the museum visitors.
